Shoreline Church is Hiring a Facilities Support Near Monterey, CA

Primary Description:
The Facilities Support position is responsible for the appearance, maintenance, and security of the building and grounds of Shoreline Church.

Status: Part Time
Lines of Accountability: Facilities Manager
Rate: $17.00 Per Hour

Ministry Responsibilities:

  • Vacuuming, mopping, emptying trash, scrubbing and maintaining bathrooms and supplies, dusting, and other cleaning duties as outlined in the detailed cleaning schedule and procedure guidelines.
  • Basic room Setup /Teardown.
  • Responsible for setting up tables, chairs, and other equipment required in advance of meetings at the church that are assigned by the Facilities Manager.
  • Responsible for cleaning up and tearing down following meetings and events as assigned.

Security

  • Perform building walkthrough to include locking all exterior doors, locking administrative offices, and shutting down all HVAC and lighting

Other duties

  • Other duties as assigned by the Executive Team or supervisor

Physical Requirements
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to:
● Lift 50 pounds individually.
● Standing, sitting, walking, bending, kneeling, squatting, climbing stairs, and navigating tight spaces and heights.
● Considerable use of arms, legs and whole body.
● Proficient in oral and written communications.
